Pool Rules & Regulations

  • The lifeguards on duty have the responsibility to maintain and enforce pool regulations, and the authority to suspend pool privileges to anyone who disregards these rules. Regulations may be extended as necessary.

  • All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear (no cutoffs, jeans, or underwear are allowed).

  • Beverages in glass bottles may be brought to the Club, but must be transferred to non-glass receptacles before being consumed.  Glass food dishes should be kept on picnic tables when not being carried into the Club or to the cooking area.

  • Please shower before entering pool. Swimmers are expected to be in good health and free of contagious diseases.

  • Persons 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult, OR, with the permission of a lifeguard, may enter the pool area under the direct supervision of someone designated by the parent.

  • Only children 5 years of age and younger may use the baby pool. Parent supervision is required.

  • Running and rough play will not be allowed.

  • Only one person is allowed on the diving board at one time.

  • In the deep end of the pool, no one is allowed to swim past the ladder, or under the diving board, whether the board is being used or not.  The starting blocks are off limits always.

  • Flotation devices, including swimming aids, are discouraged and will not be allowed during busy hours.

  • Deck chairs are reserved for adults (18 and older) during busy hours. Please keep the pool area free of litter.

  • During thunderstorms, all swimmers must immediately obey instructions of the lifeguards. Swimmers should clear the area and go home or seek shelter.

  • Adult Swim will be called daily at 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM** (**upon request). When Adult Swim is announced, all swimmers under the age of 16 must immediately leave the water.  Only specified, authorized personnel shall be in the pool area outside of prescribed open hours.

  • Swim Guards: All guards are Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen Administration certified and can be identified by their lifeguard uniforms. The guards are required to rotate through all positions at the Club, including guarding, check-in, snack bar, and clean-up. The staff’s main concern is the safety of the members and guests, cleanliness of the facility, and services to the members. Special requests, concerns, and praise should be taken to Club Managers.
