"Michelle's Wine League" (Tennis) - 2026

🎾🍷 Calling all Foothills Women - Wine League 2026 is here! 🍷🎾

Get ready to wrap up Summer with some tennis, wine, and great company! The Wine League Social is your chance to meet, play with, or reconnect with other awesome women at Foothills. This event is for women members only, ages 18+, and all skill levels are welcome - from total beginners to seasoned pros!

Our league is named in honor of Michelle Wyeno, a valued Foothills tennis advocate and friend who ran the wine league for numerous seasons, and whose presence we continue to miss.

Here’s how it works:

• Doubles matches, one hour each

• First team to 8 games wins (game point decides ties)

• After the match? Time to mingle! Bring a snack and/or wine to share and hang out with your fellow players.

Important Dates:

🗓 Sign-Up Deadline: Wednesday, August 5, 2026

🎾 League Starts: Thursday, August 13, 2026

⏰ Match Times: 6:30P & 7:30P (we might open a 5:30P slot too if we get a big group again!)

Play runs for 8 fun-filled weeks. You can sign up as a full-time player or as a sub. Once sign-ups are in, your league commissioners - Alyssa Priest & Ashley Boehm - will assign doubles partners and courts for each week.

Wanting to sign up but never swung a racquet before?? Alyssa & Ashley will hold a couple beginner sessions to teach you the basics! More info on free beginner sessions will come out soon.
